GPTFileProCommon questions
FAQ
Everything you need to know about your custom GPT build package, installation, payment flow, and ownership.
The obvious questions.
Answered.
What exactly am I buying?
A GPTFilePro Custom Build Package created specifically for your project. Depending on your GPT, it can include custom .md Knowledge/build files, complete custom Instructions, a custom Description, Conversation Starters, model and Capability settings, other configuration details, and tailored installation directions. You choose the name; if you want help, we can suggest one. We privately test and refine the configuration before delivery. You are not buying access to a live or hosted GPT—you keep the package and control the GPT you create with it.
Do you need access to my ChatGPT account?
No. Never.
Do you create the GPT in my account?
No. We build and privately test the underlying system, then send the finished build to you. You create the final GPT in your own ChatGPT account using our instructions.
Is this just a prompt?
No. Each build is engineered around its purpose, behavior, expertise, boundaries, voice, and workflow—then privately tested and refined.
Do you manage my GPT afterward?
No. Once delivered, the file and resulting GPT remain under your control.
Is there a monthly GPTFilePro fee?
No.
Do I need ChatGPT?
Yes. You'll need a ChatGPT account with access to creating custom GPTs. Available creation, sharing, and publishing options depend on your ChatGPT plan and workspace permissions.
Where can I use my GPT?
That depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace. You may use your GPT privately, share it within an eligible workspace, or make it available more broadly when those options are supported for your account. GPTFilePro gives you the custom build package; the sharing and publishing options available to you are determined by your ChatGPT plan and workspace permissions.
Why not just ask ChatGPT to write the instructions for me?
Generating instructions is easy. Building a GPT that behaves consistently, stays focused on its job, uses the right voice, handles edge cases, and has been tested and refined is the part you're paying us to do.
What happens after I pay?
After Stripe confirms your payment, you’ll continue to GPTFilePro’s private project intake form. Tell us what you want your GPT to know, do, and sound like, and we’ll take it from there.
What if I want changes after delivery?
Your build includes one consolidated correction/revision request submitted within 3 calendar days of delivery. That revision is intended to correct anything that does not match the agreed project specification. New features, new use cases, or changes in direction are not included and may require a separate build.
Is GPTFilePro part of OpenAI?
No. GPTFilePro is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.
